How to define the target audience and why is it necessary?

A business does not work without clients, so it is important for it to be able to recognize "its" people and know exactly who it sells its services or goods to every day.

Those same "its" people who come to a business for a product are called the target audience. The target audience can be determined by asking a few right questions and forming a portrait - a collective image of all those who are ready to buy something from the business.

For example, the target audience of Evos is Anvar aka, who is 35 years old. Several times a month he goes out for a walk with his family and at the same time takes them to lunch/dinner at the nearest Evos.

And the audience, for example, of Yandex.Taxi is Rustam, 27, works as an office worker in a private company, lives in a rented apartment on Parkentsky and goes to the office on Ts5 every day.

Each of these audiences has a value that they find in the product - Anvar aka it is important to treat the whole family to something tasty, without losing the holiday atmosphere and without going broke.

And Rustam wants more comfort and to arrive at work on time, but he does not want to catch a taxi on the street every morning and explain where to go to save 3-5 thousand soums.

Think about what value you can give to people? What kind of people are they?

Take a few minutes and create a portrait of your client - when he wakes up, what he does for a living, how old he is, how much he earns, where and what he eats, does he have a family and what he enjoys.

By answering these questions, you can delve deeper into your audience to understand how, where and what to say to them in your communications.
