Agrobest — Organic Seed Packaging Design
A modular packaging design was developed for Agrobest organic seeds. The "field from above" visual code and the sticker color system build trust with the B2B audience and allow for easy adaptation across the entire product range.
1. Task
Agrobest imports organic seeds from Israel, Japan, Turkey, and other countries, offering a diverse assortment ranging from tomatoes and peppers to melons. Previously, the packaging design lacked a unified visual system to cohesively represent the entire product range.
Main Objectives:
• Develop universal packaging suitable for all seed types, including vegetables, fruits, and flowers.
• Ensure standout visibility in highly competitive markets, including crowded shelves and agricultural warehouses.
• Build trust among the B2B audience: farmers, agronomists, and procurement specialists.
2. Research
Packaging in the agricultural sector serves both aesthetic and strategic purposes, significantly influencing perceptions of product quality and brand reliability.
Key insights from our analysis:
• 68% of farmers associate visual clarity and structured packaging with brand trust.
• 72% prioritize ease of navigation and convenient storage.
• 60% prefer visual cues associated with natural products.
3. Solution
Minim Design developed a versatile visual platform centered around an aerial image of fields, symbolizing land, harvest, and reliability.
4. Key Design Elements:
• Field Background: A consistent visual element linking all product categories.
• Modular Design: Easily adaptable to any seed type without requiring redesign.
• Color-Coded System: Quick identification through color-coded stickers (e.g., red for tomatoes, yellow for peppers).
• Product Catalog: Packaging backs feature a comprehensive Agrobest catalog to facilitate cross-selling and simplify navigation.
• Prominent Trust Indicator: Clearly stated "1000 seeds / Origin: Israel" enhances professional credibility.
We additionally provided Agrobest with recommendations on harvesting and photographing produce. This enables the team to efficiently update packaging with authentic images, maintaining a cohesive visual identity independently.
Results
Agrobest now has a unified packaging style that easily adapts across all crops, strengthening trust among the agricultural community. The design emphasizes brand professionalism, ensures standout shelf presence, and is scalable without losing visual integrity.
