Rikki: Branding and Packaging Design for a Children’s Anthelmintic
We developed the Rikki brand identity for Numa’s children’s anthelmintic supplement. The naming, inspired by the mongoose Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, symbolizes protection. Bright visuals and a child-friendly character clearly communicate the product’s benefits.
1. Solution
The brand approached us to develop the identity of a new product - an anthelmintic for children that fights parasites inside the body and helps cleanse the body of harmful organisms, such as worms.
Result
Considering that the product is intended for children, but at the same time its naming and identity should directly speak about its beneficial properties, we decided to choose the name "Rikki" for the product.
This name refers us to the famous hero of Rudyard Kipling's story "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi", a mongoose who bravely defended his friends from attacks by pests: snakes.
