MONDAY – Express Branding for an Ice Cream Brand in Uzbekistan
Name, logo, and competitive packaging design developed within 2 weeks for an MVP product launch.
1. Task
Sometimes a client doesn’t need hundreds of pages of marketing analysis or long-term strategy decks. Sometimes they need a fast, precise tool to enter the market and compete.
Our client was preparing to launch a new ice cream line as an MVP. We had:
- An empty container sourced from China
- A tight two-week deadline
The objective was clear:
- Create a brand name
- Develop a logo
- Design packaging that would clearly differentiate the product from the market leader “Shin-Line” and other competitors
2. Research
Due to time constraints, we prioritized hands-on shelf research over theoretical analysis. The real insights were found directly in retail freezers.
- Shelf Analysis
- Most competitors used visually similar, outdated design approaches
- Even established brands lacked freshness and strong visual contrast

- The initial idea was “Sunday” — symbolizing relaxation and sunshine
- The name was unavailable
- We pivoted to “Monday”
- Psychologically, Monday is perceived as the hardest day of the week
- We turned this into a brand concept: “Start your heavy Monday with light and delicious ice cream.”
- The name evolved into a short, memorable brand with emotional character

- High-contrast, appetizing colors for Pistachio and Vanilla variants
